The Garden Grille - Albany, New York

BuzzUniverse kicked off our first ever weekend tour up north with a stop at the very unassuming spot called the Garden Grille in Albany, New York. When we first walked into the venue, our first impression was that it was a scary dive bar. You can never judge a book by it's cover.

Above: Garden Grille manager Catherine, who was nice enough to not only invite us to perform, but also to spend a month promoting the show and convincing all of the regulars to make it out on a Thursday, and packing the bar.

Aside from the four of us, who you see in the above slightly blurry picture, are a bunch of the greatest folks we have ever had the opportunity to perform for.

This little hole in the wall had the greatest bunch of music fans with open ears and open hearts, who hung out, listened to us play all night long, bought up most of our CDs and even helped us unload. This was truly the best tour kickoff we could have imagined.

Freddy and Alex had an impromptu jam session outside the hotel in Albany, as we got ourselves pumped up for the drive to Vermont the next day!
